The ball valve is used as a shut-off valve in heat supply systems, water supply systems, in steam, fuel and pneumatic systems with compressed air and neutral gases. Installation of valves of this series is possible in systems transporting liquid and gaseous media (water, oil, oils, steam, air, alcohols, glycol, etc.), non-aggressive to the valve materials. The use of ball valves as control valves is not allowed.
Double-acting pneumatic actuators PA-DA-x use two ports to supply the control medium and create movement in both directions, both for opening and closing the valve. One port is used to move the piston in one direction, and the other - to move in the opposite direction.
The limit switch block is designed for visual and electrical signaling of the end positions of the valve shut-off element: valve, tap or butterfly valve. It is installed on top of the surface of the pneumatic actuator and is connected to the DIN standard actuator shaft. The sealed box usually contains two sensors that monitor the position of the drive shaft and signal in extreme positions. OMRON microswitches, inductive sensors or reed switches are used as sensors.
